An idea and a vision to make quality granite and quartz countertops affordable.
What started as a hobby, grew into an idea and flourished into a passion. Granite Tops became a reality in 2004 when Colin Sullivan took on a lease for a worktop workshop in a repurposed mushroom shed. From here Colin turned people’s dreams into reality and made worktops affordable and accessible to everyone. This small cramped space proved to be a blessing in disguise, it forced us to develop a process to provide short turnaround times from template to installation and allowed us to finesse perfect techniques to give perfect finishes.
Grew into an idea
In 2010, joined by his son Thomas, Granite Tops moved to a purpose built modern manufacturing facility, equipped with latest machinery to cope with a growing demand for the quality product and service we supply.
Our output continued to grow but our quality control measures became more strict and stringent as we were adamant we would continue to offer unrivalled quality at value for money. We made the switch to digital which meant all jobs we produce are digitally measured, CNC machined to millimetre precision and hand finished to ensure the highest quality product is installed in your home. We hand finish everything we produce to ensure attention to detail is paid to each and every piece we manufacture. This is key in our ultimate pursuit of perfection.
Flourished into a passion
Further expansion was required in 2016 due to continued demand for the quality product and service we provide, coupled with the launch of our revolutionary quartz for the Irish market ‘Mason Quartz’.
We doubled our manufacturing space and now stock over 3000 slabs of quartz We continually invest in the most tecnologically advanced machinery to enable us to provide the highest quality and quickest turnaround times for our clients. All this, combined with our hand perfected approach mean that when you choose Granite Tops as your worktop supplier you know you’re in safe hands.
